BKA Ikey

Isaac Tolbert, known to the world as BKA Ikey, was the vibrant heart, soul, and Founder of BHBB Entertainment. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Isaac relocated to Killeen, Texas, during his middle school years. Growing up, football and track were his first loves. His vibrant personality and his athletic journey in high school made him a well-known figure throughout the community. However, once he discovered music, his path was set—he fell completely in love with the craft, creating a sound that perfectly complemented his lifestyle and brought him genuine happiness.

Ikey didn't just build a label; he built a movement fueled by a happy spirit and an unmatched work ethic. What started in 2015 as a pastime amongst friends evolved in 2017 when Ikey took a serious approach to his artistry—dropping tracks on SoundCloud, shooting his first official music videos, and commanding his first local stage. By early 2018, his buzz was undeniable across Central Texas, drawing in fans of every age, ethnicity, and gender, all captivated by his uplifting spirit and raw message.

On his birthday, June 14, 2018, one of his lifelong best friends and 1st cousin, Eric Tolbert, officially joined him on the journey. Together, they continued to build a presence all over Texas and realized they could elevate BHBB from a tight-knit circle of friends into a legitimate independent powerhouse. As they laid the groundwork for the future, Ikey wrapped up his highly anticipated album, LOST.

Tragically, on Christmas Day 2018, Isaac passed away peacefully in his sleep overnight before seeing its January 2019 release. Though he left us too soon, his blueprint remains untouched. Projects like LOST, 6/14, and 4 You Only stand as timeless testaments to his genius, and his vision as CEO continues to guide BHBB along the way. While his passing shocked the community, his dream never died. The foundation he poured into BHBB Entertainment lives on through every artist on the roster, every member of the team and every boundary the company breaks. Ikey Lives On Forever! #ILO
